為了讓海外青年了解臺灣豐富的多元文化，促進海內外青年交流，僑務委員會於2019年10月5日至18日將舉辦「2019年僑務委員會海外青年臺灣學習體驗營第4梯次」，由國立高雄師範大學承辦，共有32位來自泰北地區的海外青年來臺參加。國立高雄師範大學已規劃一系列精采的參訪學校體驗課程與臺灣文化體驗，務必讓海外學子能在活潑的教學課程與體驗中學習。承辦單位還特別安排參訪臺灣北、中、南各地學校體驗課程、師生交流、遊覽各地方包括故宮、總統府、屏東六堆客家文化園區、駁二藝術特區、安平古堡、各地夜市美食等，讓海外青年了解臺灣的歷史，並感受在地文化之美。活動精彩充實，希望透過政經建設參訪、大學院校課程體驗、人文教育探索、多元文化體驗、旅遊景點參觀、生態環境探索等等，給學員一個難忘的臺灣生活體驗，也讓學員能夠深入了解臺灣，為將來來臺升學做準備。

       To provide overseas compatriot youths with an understanding of a rich multicultural Taiwan , the Overseas Community Affairs Council, Republic of China (Taiwan) will hold the “2019 Compatriot Youth Taiwan Culture Study Program 4th session”, undertaken by National Kaohsiung Normal University, from 5th October to 18th October, 2019. About 32 compatriot youths from Northern Thailand will participate in this program.

       The Program will offer students multiple perspectives on Taiwanese culture, the history of Taiwan, and the current development of Taiwan education. Compatriot Youths from the Northern Thailand will experience the vocational training courses offered by schools in Taiwan. The organizer also arranges visits to well-know cultural and historical sites in Taiwan, including the National Palace Museum(Taipei), the Presidential Hall, the Liudui Hakka Cultural Park(Pingtung), Pier-2 Art Center(Kaohsiung), the Anping Castle(Tainan), and the Night Markets in Taiwan, etc, to let them have a deeper understanding of local cultures. We hope that through these special adventures, the overseas compatriot youths will develop an understanding of Taiwan history and appreciation of the beauty of its culture, making their summer unforgettable. We also hope these experiences will encourage them to come to Taiwan for their further studies.
